DN:s prize " GULDDRAKEN "

Back from London to a snowy Umeå.
We have had some good days and visits that I hope that you will be able to read this weekend.
Have to say that it seems that this year will kickstart first with our London trip and next week with a lot of interesting things. On Monday I will travel to Tallin for a concept dinner called " Zero waste " on Tuesday I`m going to Stockholm and a first visit to Ekstedt. Wednesday is " Chef of the year " were I will speak at a seminarium and see the contest and dine at the banquet.Thursday there is a guestplay by Martin Picard at Vassa Eggen, it´s going to be decandent !
Then it´s time to start working with our own things and in march were going to Copenhagen to visit producers and hopefully a long awaited re-visit at NOMA. Then in April it will be something but right now, looking out from the window seeing a snowy landscape I might choose sun and blue water instead of urban dining experience ;)
Hope to be able to put more time and effort for making this blog more fun to read.



Today it was announced who won the " gulddraken ", the big newspaper DN once a year have a prize in form of a golden dragon.
They have different categories and this year infamous AA Gill for the first time handed out a " Guest dragon " ( not sure if that is the right word for it but..... ;)

Of these I have only been to La Neta so I can´t say anything ;)

Pontus ! won with there crazy offers called birdie nam-nam so if you come early and walk before 7 you pay have the prize of the food and it´s also the same if you come after 22 ........

AA GILL " guest dragon "
Winner here was Gastrologik who I guess will have some bubbles tonight !! ;)

Have to say that I think that Stockholm right now is one interesting place to eat in....
